50 minutes or 90 on Kuber ATV — pick the trail length with Ubud Quad Bike Rafting

Ubud Quad Bike Rafting · Field note · 8 min read

Kuber ATV is 50 minutes without the cave and waterfall, or 90 minutes for the complete trek. Then the Ayung River — rafting or jungle tubing — with lunch.

Most groups who write Ubud Quad Bike Rafting already know they want mud and river in one day. The part that stalls the enquiry is almost always the same: Kuber ATV, fifty minutes or ninety. This note is that split, written the way we walk it on the phone — not a second packages page, just the clock on Trail 1.

Kuber is Trail 1. It is not Temple Run (sixty minutes, Surya Bintang) and it is not Barong Cave or Gorilla Face. Those cave trails have their own notes. On Kuber the only decision on the bike is how long you stay in the jungle before you change into river gear.

You ride single or tandem. The track is rice paddies, bamboo, mud, and river crossings. Helmets, English-speaking guides, showers, lockers, lunch, and round-trip hotel transfers sit on the package either way. Price is confirmed when you enquire — we do not print a number here.

What fifty minutes actually skips

The 50 minute Kuber ATV is the shorter jungle ride without the cave and waterfall. You still get an off-road morning. You do not get the Waterfall Cave section that sits on the complete trek. If the photo in the cave is the reason you booked an ATV, fifty will feel unfinished. If you mainly want to get dirty and then get on the river, fifty is the honest length.

That shorter ride still pairs with the river. Waterfall Cave and River Rafting with Lunch is 50 min ATV plus rafting, or 90 min complete trek plus rafting. Cave Explorer and Jungle Tubing with Lunch uses the same 50 or 90 split. The river is not a consolation prize for picking the short bike.

If you want the cave and the waterfall on the ATV, you need the 90 minute complete trek. If you want more of the day on the water, fifty is the clean choice.

What ninety minutes adds

Ninety minutes is the complete Kuber trek: the same jungle and mud, then the cave and waterfall the short run leaves out. It is still one outdoor day, not a second tour. Families who want the cave stop usually take ninety. Couples who care more about class II and III rapids on the Ayung often take fifty, then rafting. Neither is a lite day — both end on the river with lunch.

The extra forty minutes is not “more of the same track.” It is the section that includes the cave and waterfall. That is the whole difference. If someone in the group is unsure on an ATV, say so when you write — we still need you to name 50 or 90, not a third length we do not run on Kuber.

Rafting or jungle tubing after Kuber

Every Kuber length still asks you to name the water. Rafting uses class II and III rapids past waterfalls, cliff faces, and carved stone walls. Jungle tubing is the other river option on the same day. Write both the minutes and the river when you enquire, or we will ask before we hold the morning.

  • 50 min ATV, no cave and waterfall, then rafting or tubing
  • 90 min complete trek with cave and waterfall, then rafting or tubing
  • Lunch included on both Kuber packages
